Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the most famous and rich Reggae artists. He starred in the classic film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani's first album, called Like Father Like Son in 1996. This was later followed by Dear Dad", which reached number 1 on charts in the British Reggae chart. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees to perform Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song became a massive hit in 1997. Marley appeared at the Midem event (an international music showcase) that was the first time it was staged in Miami. At the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley found himself engaged in a bidding war. In 1997, Marley signed a contract with Gee Street/V2 Records, and also completed a collaborative project in collaboration with P.M. Dawn sang the song Gotta Movin"Up" in the hit song.
